Ingredients: Basil, Brown Sugar, Onions, Garlic, Sugar, Black Pepper, Parsley, Salt, Celery Salt, Oregano and Bay Leaves

Instructions for Spaghetti Sauce: 

In an 8-12 quart non reactie thick pot, mix: 

  • Large Seasoning packet
  • 6 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4-1/2 cup sugar (depending on your taste)
  • Add 24 oz Hunts Tomato Paste

Blend ingredients well. Bring to a simmer on medium heat, then lower heat to very low simmer. Add meatballs - note: do not cover pot to avoid scorching. 

Instructions for Meatballs: 

In a large mixing bow add: 

  • Small Seasoning packet
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup plan bread crumbs 
  • 1 lb ground beef

Mix together - make 8 meatballs put in refrigerator while preparing sauce. Before rolling the meatballs, wt hands to keep meatballs smooth and even, which prevents them from breaking while cooking. Add to the slowly simmering sauce and stir gently every 15 minutes. Cook for 30 minutes or until meatballs are cooked to 160 degrees. Turn off heat and let sit for 15 minutes.
